The King is the ruler of the kingdom.

- Upon entering the Home Castle from the Barracks, a cutscene plays showing the Evil Wizard steal the King's giant crystal.
- The King helps players fight the Catfish by firing cannonballs from his boat.
- The King rides on his horse in the Flowery Field level. If he is knocked off, players can ride his horse.
- The King is available as a playable character (in the King Pack DLC).
- The King can drop the King's Mace on the Flowery Field level if you play on insane and let the Killer Beekeepers kill him. (But this is a extremely rare occurrence.)
- On the Final Battle level there is a skeleton that has a crown on its head.
