Desert Bug

This enemy cannot move, so you should first stand directly in front of it (the greater the distance, the more effective the next step will be)
Note! Have your shield ready (LT)! Whether you jump in front of the enemy, or walk into the poison projectiles, be sure to have your shield out. This completely incapacitates the creatures offensive ability entirely.
For the final step, it's time to put that lovely gamer hand eye coordination to use! Time the poison projectiles now slamming into your shield, so you can shoot two magic projectiles in between the bursts. Don't get greedy now...2 is the "magic" number here.

Desert Bugs pop out of quicksand areas and shoot poison projectiles at players. They also grab players who get too close. When it does, a player has to wiggle (RS) to get out of it's grasp.
The Desert Bug can be found at the Party where players fight for the Orange Princess. It is seen holding a cake with a Small Troll on its head.
